Added chrome lowers and dropped the front 1" when I added the 21" wheel. Went with progressive drop in kit and ricor intiminators. Rides and handles great.

i did ricor intiminatorers up front, no lowering. about 10 1/2 oz. of amsoil 5wt. did a very good job of eliminating brake dive. i think i want to take out 1/2 oz out of each fork. also just installed ricors on the rear and only made 2 adjustments they are feeling good and i think with a little work they will be better

You have the option of doing 1 or 2", I'm also running a 21" wheel, and I did all the work myself, not hard at all, just following the instructions and have a manual.

Ricor Intiminators with 10 oz. of Amsoil 5wt in each leg. Very smooth ride that firms up nicely in the corners, and very little brake dive.

My gf just had the monotubes but in her 2011 Deluxe. I was suprised at the difference. Now I want to get a set.

I have an 18 inch wheel on my bike now. I want to change to a 21 inch next winter. Would a 2 inch drop be the way to go with 18 inch or 21 inch wheels? I am asking because I was thinking about doing the monotubes before the 21 inch wheel. I want to make the bike level since I am a shorter guy.

Thanks
Eric

I didn't measure my bike before the 2" drop/21" wheel install. Did both at the same time, now I can almost flat foot it so I'd guess the front (frame) of my bike is 1/2 - 3/4" lower than OE.

I plan on dropping the rear an inch to get the stance where I want it and that should be the little I need to completely flat foot it.
