Thumbs up progressive front fork dropin's

Guys how are these and should I just drop an inch or more I ordered them so I thought 1 in is enough with out having to change the kick stand and I did the rear shoocks from 12.6 to 12 so I thought 1 in on front would be enough are these progressive springs good on a 07 FXDC ?Once again I thank you in advance JT Is this a good setup and is it better then stock forks from Harley?

I installed the Progressive Drop-in lowering kit in my FXDC about a month ago. I went with 2" drop because I put 11" Progressives on the rear. You probably only want to go with the 1" drop (longer cut spacer) since you went with 12's. I think the bike handles great with the drop-in. And it was definitely very easy to install. I do not think you will be disappointed with the kit.

Forgot to add, I did the 2" drop in the front end and the 11" rear shocks and still did not change the kickstand. While it stands up a little straighter in still has plenty of lean angle to be confident. The only down side is having to lean a little farther to the right to clear the kickstand to put it up. I think with the setup you are considering, you should be fine with that kickstand.

Hi, I put 11 in. on the back and dropped the front by 1.5 inch , have now put the front back to standard, bike has more rake and seems to track and handle better at speed,
also gives it a slammed look from behind, just my view.
PS . I put in about 4000 km testing around the top of the South Island,
thats New Zealand , folks

I most derfinitely like the prog. fork springs for the ride over stock springs, but I haven't lowered the front at all. Just the rear shocks are 1/2 inch shorter and I'm already finding I scrape sooner in the twisties,so i won't be taking it any lower, some day if i change shocks again I'll go with longer than stock. I bought both the standard length Progressive springs and the 2" drop in lowering kit. I installed the lowering kit at 2" on my 07 Street Bob. I also have the ricor valves in front. After 10k miles with the lowering kit I swapped springs for the standard length Progressives. I left them in maybe 200 miles and swapped back to the lowering kit. The handling difference is tremendous. When I had the stock length springs in I was reminded of why I wanted the front lowered in the first place. Stock height and the front would plow around switch back tight curves. Once lowered, the bike handles transitions much better without any scary moments. I'm running Ohlins stock length on back and with Pirelli Night Dragon tires, the bike handles MUCH better than stock. Just my $.02

I have progressive drop ins up front as of about 2 weeks ago.....put it and inch stack of washers to raise the beast in addition to the already flush set forks raised up in the triple trees. 1" longer shocks in back for increased height to get the pegs further from the ground to get the ability to actually use the better handling.

i have 11'' shocks on the rear right now and i just came up on a set of lowering spings for the front. i plan on doing a 2'' drop to get it really slammed. i'm not sure what's the best formula to use but i think alot of it is gonna be based on your individual riding style.
