I think you can do better if you don't get in a hurry. There was an 09 RKC for sale here on the forums recently in vivid black with passenger backrest and 1800 miles for $14,500 but if you are happy with the deal, that's all that matters.
Edit: Just reread the post. I guess there's only $700 difference in the bike I just mentioned and the one you're looking at before the performance mods so no a bad deal if you really want the hard bags but the RKC does come with cruise control.

Sounds ok, you could probably save a bit if you did the installs yourself, but i understand not everyone wants to work on their bike. How far is the bike being shipped?

600-700 miles. in the end, it will cost me $317 to ship
That is a good deal...I checked Kelley Blue Book because I'm getting ready to sell my 2009 RK with only 1700 miles...complete with Detachable Backrest, Luggage Rack, Stage One w/H-D Tuner Download, and cruise for $16,500...its immaculate. KBB retail is $16,875. I have three motorcycles and one scooter...something has to go.
I say it's not a good deal. You can look at KBB or NADA all day, but if bikes are selling on forums, trader, craigslist, and ebay for less... then KBB and NADA crap. The same goes for any vehicle. You have to check what they are actually selling for. The internet makes it a whole lot easier to do that.
Look around, because I see much better deals all the time.
Sounds about average until you add in performance mods. Have you checked out prices on 2010 / 11 leftovers? Sometimes you can swing a deal. Sounds like you are in the price range of new (less mods). In either case, nice choice of ride, enjoy!

...I'm all for a better deal and yes one can find cheaper but not necessarily better. I will pay more for a bike that is stock and has been maintained over a cheaper one that had the crap run out of it and it's maintenance neglected or one that looks like an aftermarket parts warehouse...I can find these buys all day long. The bottom line is...you get what you pay for...I base the best finds on condition, maintenance, and warranty then I discuss money.
BTW... KBB & NADA base their price guide on what is selling around the country...its only a reference guide that establishes a base line or starting point. Selling and trading is my hobby but if I was in the business to make money I would hire you in a New York minute to be my buyer...that is if you could distinguish the difference between a cream puff and a crop duster running maypops.
