Who is running a 23" wheel with stock rake and stock springs? I put a 23 on mine and have stock rake and springs and im worried about the fender hitting the bottom of the tripple trees or that chrome piece under the fairing.
Who has lowered there bike with a 23? What springs did you use? I would like to lower mine but thats going to make the fender even closer, Are the lowering springs stiffer?
I run a 23 with stock springs. You really need to rake it. When you rake it the bike will lower down in the front. you still run a chance of hitting on a pothole or a big bump.
I run a 23 with stock rake, and springs. I put FBI bottom out spacers in with the Ricor intiminators. It will hit the fender on heavy bumps, and come close on heavy breaking. I think a wrap around fender will give you a little more clearance. If you dont want any issues, you'll have to cut the neck and rake it. That's about another $1200 investment. I sacrifice ride quality to have it look bad ***.
someone else posted something about changing the triple trees. get a set off a flhx tri glide. supposely the rake in the trees enable u to run a 23 inch wheel. forgot who put up posted it but I have seen it on here. good luck
My bike has about 3 5/8 inches between the fender and that chrome piece under the fairing. No way I think I could lower the bike. I guess im going to get some bottom out spacers till at least the riding season is over and see how they do. What is the Ricor intiminators? What do they do?

Thats a good idea, anytime they trike a bike they always rake it out more. Ill look into that. Thanks
