Default 1984 Bagger Questions

I have a 1984 FLHT with an EVO. That I need some pointers on doin a few things I want to do to it. Any help is much appreciated.

1st: I would like to convert the speedo to an electronic speedo but the transmission doesnt have the spot for the sensory any ideas on what I could do for that?

2nd: I dont like the enclosed final drive chain, but to take the enclosure off I would have to block off some stuff on the inner primary because it is a self oils the chain. Any ideas on what it takes to block the inner primary off so it doesnt drip the oil on the chain anymore? or what would it take to convert to a belt final drive?

3rd: The bike is a little tall for me. I am on my tippy toes when I sit on the bike. I do have a low profile seat on it, but looking to lower the bike some. Any advice on how to do this and not spend a lot of money?

All help is much appreciated

Thank you
Jacob

Jacob, I recommend you call in the Evo forum, where you will find plenty of help from fellow Evo owners. We even have coffee and cakes sometimes! I doubt if you can easily convert to an electronic speedo, your enclosed chain is fine and it will require some serious effort to convert to belt (it ain't either/or). You may be able to modify the nose of your seat so your legs more easily reach the floor, rather than anything more drastic. The bike is not too tall for you, you just ain't got used to it yet!
