Can anyone help me with a small question ...We r a small maybe 4 bikes . We are coming to the city on the 30 July and need a safe place to park are bikes while we do the city thing for a few hours ...Then we are heading for Orange County choppers .. Thanks if you can put me in the right direction ...clean cut veterans ...Thanks ..I know there are parking lots ..Thanks if anyone can help ...
Your best bet is in a lot or garage. Too many ******** in the city. Someone will end up backing into them, if they don't get stolen.
I've lived in the city all my life, and I don't leave my bike where I can't see it.
Went into Hogs and Heffers once was in there for half an hour. Within that time, some guy's bike was stolen from right out in front.
There are plenty of lots with hourly or daily rates and they usually have a separate place for bikes. Good luck.
Park the bikes in Brooklyn Heights Between court street and the water front. The area is a few block from the courts and city hall. From there take a #4, #5, #3 or #2 train into Manhattan.
Depends where you are wanting to keep the bike. If you were cool with Brooklyn, I know my neighborhood is great for parking bikes, and I could keep an eye on them.
If I thought I had to ride my bike there ---- Port Authority. I never took my bike into NY, but I always park the car at P.A. bus terminal when I go into NY. Just go all the way to the roof. Mainly because you'll be right at the tunnel when you leave, or if you want, (same exit ramp. Make decision before you get to the bottom.) you can stay in NY & head north instead of going through the tunnel. If you get there early enough, you'll probably be able to park on the outside, backing up to the concrete wall at the edge of the lot. I wouldn't think you'd have any problem up there. Everybody else there is parking for only the day also.
Yes I seen that on the PC. didnt seem too bad ..mixed reviews but someone always bitches ,..thanks I think that is it ..dont have to worry about getting in the city then ..
