Hello, I have Harley LED rear turn signals and tail lamp. When I just turn my directional on the light seems dim. When I have the directional on and I hit the brake the turn signal is VERY bright.
My question is this: does any one have these LED items on their bike and when they just have the turn signal on is it far less bright then when they apply the brake? I have an equalize but did not add it since Harley said I would not need it. Any help would be great!

Just went out and checked mine, only work on turn not on brake or as a light.I got both brake and turn from HD put on myself just plugged them in just like the factory ones .
My Harley LED turn signals act as blinkers, brake and running lights. My issue is whether the turn signals should brighter when just in turn signal mode. When they are flashing AND I apply the brake they flash as bright as they do when just in brake light mode.

I have the HD LEDS on my 09 Classic front and rear. The level of brightness is the same for brake and turn, and and dimmer for run.The intensity is the same as the center LED tail light.I'm thinking you may have signal lights wired backwards(pins in the wrong cavity).
I will try to answer, my HD led signals flash very bright regardless if I use the brake light or not. Maybe you should check your wiring on the led's, sounds like you may have a wire swapped.
Ok, so I went out and checked the whole wiring. I had put the black wire where the violet goes and the violet where the black goes on the larger two_way socket housing. I did not realize the violet wire goes on the left and the black on the right when facing the rear of the bike.
Thanks everyone for your help! I was not very happy with this product and now I love it!

I was looking to purchase the LED front and rear turn signals for my limited I purchased....How easy were they to install? Or is it something you suggest a mechanic to do?
