Gas tank liner problems?

This is new to me, maybe it's been mentioned but I must have missed it. I just read this on another forum but It's worth mentioning again just in case anyone missed it like me. Now I got to go check out my tank to see if I can see anything wrong with it. Apparantly this is turning into a larger problem than one can imagine. Can't find anything about the fuel tank liner on Your link. Can You tell Us what the problem is about?

Don't know why when i copied and paste the link to the topic it won't bring you to it but the subject is; Owners of older RKs should read this it's under the heading General Stuff bike related. Click on the heading and it opens up more topics. This is about Road King owners but it would apply to any Harley bike.
