Seat Help
I am trying to decide on which seat to purchase for my 2010 EG. I have narrowed my choices down to the Harley Hammock seat and the Corbin Dual Touring Saddle. The stock seat height is good so I don't won't to change that and I could move back a couple of inches but not critical. I know seats are individual choices but any input is appreciated.
You may want to look at a factory seat from a 2011 Street Glide. They have redesigned them and they are a little narrower and much softer. They look good on the bike too and have better back support.
I picked one up on ebay for $120 including shipping. Part number is 52320-11.

Cycle Pedic Touring Seats offers riders and passengers the ultimate in comfort by taking pressure off the prostate and tailbone area. Using multiple levels of comfort including: memory foam, mold injected polyurethane foam, shock absorbing gel polymer, and a channel for the prostate/tailbone, Rush guarantees Cycle Pedic Seats will displace more weight than any other seat making this the most comfortable seat in the industry.

Just put the new hammock seat on my 09 UC and so far really like it. It did not seem to raise me up any. It may have moved me back a bit but not much , if any. Getting ready for a 2k trip in a few weeks. Hopefully , when I get back, my opinion will not have changed!!!
My Opinion:
I had a Corbin Dual Tour, when researching, everyone gave it rave reviews. This seat is not for every body. I bought one and for me, it was horrible. First off, it is hard, very hard, so hard I was ready to take it off and ride on the battery because it put in in so much pain (rode about 250 miles that day,and by mile 100 I was miserable). It sets you back a bit further then the stock seat, and gives the passenger less room. If you have short arms, you may also need to change your bars. (not the case for me). It is close to the height of the stock seat, maybe a tab bit lower, and it does have a sportylook.
Lots of people told me it takes 1500 miles to break in. nope, not mine. I since sold it.
That being said, my vote would be for the Hammock seat, a friend of mine has one and LOVES it. I now have a Road Zeppelin, and it is superb!
