I used to swear by Plexus....now I swear at them. Wont buy their stuf anymore and I hope they put themselves out of business with their crazy prices. I now get the stuff that the Honda dealer sells. Even the small size can I keep in the bike is only $3.50.

Went from Plexus to Pledge and then took advice from this forum and tried the 50/50 peroxide/water. Bugs foam and turn white. Some fall off without wiping. Apparently the peroxide breaks down the protein in the insects. Best spray-on I've found. Almost as good a hot wet towels. A bottle of peroxide is only about $2.00. Still use Pledge after cleaning to make 'er shine.

Thanks for the tip..
A damp/wet towell draped across your windshield/fairing helps to soften things up too where the bugs just slide off.

+1 on the HP and water! After using that I follow up with Lemon Pledge.

Seems like after you carry it awile it looses it's power, freash works great, But really, Get lemon pledge, been using it for 7 years and works great every time. Plexus is great also, the only differance in Pledge and Plexus is lable and price.. Buddy works at a body shop for 30 years said nuthn wrong with pledge cept if you repaint you have to sand almost to metal or you can get fisheye..

Remove dust from windshield. Warm water and a cotton cloth. Easy...and free!
