I posted this also in the electrical forum. Hoping maybe to get some feedback if anyone knows.
I have a set of speakers attached to one of the harnesses in the nacelle. After I installed a digital speedometer and power commander autotuner, my ignition fuse blows as soon as I turn the bike on. The reason why I mentioned the speakers is I can hear a humming noise in the speakers now. The autotuner seems to be wired correctly. The digital speedometer also has a tach, oil temp gauge, and other options. Is one of the harnesses in the nacelle for a mounted tach and I used it for the speakers? I tried to eliminate what I installed, but ran out of fuses. Getting some more ASAP. I also unplugged the two neutral sensor wires and plugged them back in later on. Is it possible the two wires are switched? There is a black wire and an orange wire. I have been searching for a picture up close of the area on top of the transmission to see if I can tell how the two wires are plugged in to the neutral sensor.
My recommendation. I would disconnect one of the new items at a time until I find out which one is the culprit and then work it from there. Work from newest change to oldest. Elec probs can be very tough ti diagnose. I also reccomend keeping notes as to what you have done. Combo problems get even worse.
I would guess a bad connection on one of the items.

Thanks for the advice...that is the plan this morning. Heading up to Wally World after my coffee for a pack of fuses. I ran out last night as I blew four in a row. I had the bike running for about 3 minutes while the laptop was connected to the Power Commmander, then the fuse went and the bike shut down. Could be the connections for the O2 sensors on the autotuner module not being screwed down tight.
