Installing one of these tomorrow on a 2003 Ultra Classic. Anyone ever done this or rode one with this conversion? Comments, suggestions or advice please.
I converted my wife's sporty with their kit. The machine work is second to none. The best part is you can do it yourself, with one helper on a couple of the tasks. Just make sure you have a shop manual for your bike and the proper tools. Don't get in a hurry, do it right and you will like the finished product.
By the way, did you go ahead and buy the raked trees? If you didn't you are going to miss out on a good riding experience. If you click over to the "Trikes/Trailers" section, it has been discussed quite alot.

I do have the raked trees also to install also. I expect this will be just as time consuming to do as the trike conversion being its going on a Ultra Classic because of having to remove the batwing ect. Glad to hear you are happy with your conversion. I received the kit yesterday and the first thing I noticed was as you said, the machine work that went into this kit is top shelf. Im very happy with the quality of the components this far. If fit is a good as the finish, this should be a great trike when its all finished up.
I got started this morning about 7:30 and was out riding by around 3:00 this afternoon. Monday I'll get started on the triple trees to give it more rake and put an 80 spoke wheel on the font to match the back wheel. The quality of the parts in this kit are exceptional. If you're thinking of doing a trike, check out frankensteintrikes.com before you make your final decision on which kit to buy.
I just got a new laptop with windows 7 and every time I click on the manage attachments to put photos up, the manage attachments page is blank. Can someone help me out here so I can get some pictures up?
