I have a sony head unit. I have sony wax kit installed (having memory issues with it). I want a new bracket install kit and hand control kit for bars.
From your experience which do you prefer? Biketronics retro kit or Hawg wired kit? Or combo of both? Thanks in advance.
I have one from Biketronics. I am happy with it. Very easy to install. They have good customer service and fast shipping. I did however go with the universal one. Mainly because for $30 more I have a kit that I can use in case I decide to change the Sony. I also have a Hawg Wired speaker system and they have very good customer service as well so I am sure theirs is just as good.
I just installed the Biketronics kit. It was a great kit, easy install and the blocks that mount to the deck can be sanded down to match the install brackets perfectly. I had to sand mine down just a bit, other than that, it was great.
By the way, I just did a small right up on how to install headphone plug onto the bike for those long highway rides where it can be hard to hear the stereo, in case your interested. Good luck...
