Glad you're okay, my man! Sounds like it could have been a lot worse! Replace the bike with your insurance $$$ and get back in the saddle when you can!
Bummer, broken ribs really hurt. I broke two of them in my last accident and it's some of the worst pain I've ever had. I hope you heal quickly.
Be careful with the insurance adjustors, it's their job to pay out the least amount possible for every claim. Your job is to make sure you get a fair deal. The one thing in your favor is time, since you have to heal before you can ride again. If the first offer is unfair, you can afford to wait. Check your policy and state laws, you may be able to choose an arbitrator if you can't reach a decision with the insurance company.
thanks for all the encouraging replies! The ribs are the wost they hurt all the time. Im home waiting for the Ins. guy to call, not sure if i want this bike back I wouldnt feel right riding it and definitely (with a clear conscious) couldn't sell it to any one. I hope some thing can be workrd out. Just freakin put on new grips and Klockwerks ergo bars too.
