HOOPMAN
I don't think it's crazy to use oven cleaner A few years ago I had my bike pinstriped with the wife's and my name on the tour pack, I asked the pinstriper if I ever needed to remove it what was the best way? and guess what he said? Easy Off Oven Cleaner I sprayed it on let it set for a minute wiped it off, worked like a charm. I needed to get it off after the divorce, got rid of the bike too!! Looking back I should have kept them both!! Thats another story for another day! Bill.

If you don't want to go to someone for custom paintstripes, Mylar graphics have a lot of choice. Most larger signmakers can help you out on this one. My local guy is Suburban Accents. Ric does a lot of Police dept, NASCAR, "rolling billboard" delivery trucks, etc. One of these days when I fix my scanner, I'll post some of the ones I did.

RE: How to remove pinstripe paint??????
The paint on a bike vs a John Deere/space shuttle/widget is different. My initial reaction when told 'bout the oven cleaner years back wuz that someone wuz on crack - but it's a fact, there is NO harm to the paint, but the pinstripe will be gone quickly an' cleanly. But hey - what do I know? Feel free ta use whatever ya want.......[X(]
