So I played around with some various places on the bike to use the suction mount and some fun with the video/still settings. #7 was time lapse using the 2sec setting.
I think the Fender mounting position is going to work best for my use, or I could mount it on my helmet too.

Well this old fart didn't have the patience to learn all the stuff to convert the Go-Pro Hero files. I couldn't open files with my Windows Media Player so got the latest (11) and then the Codec stuff but still no luck. I'm using Windows XP Prof and my system is old, Pentium 4CPU 2.8 and only 1gb Ram. I did download a Free File Opener program and could view the files. I thought I would just buy upgrades memory and a video card but then after I tried to view on my 4 year old Samsung HD TV and they wouldn't play there either since it only accepts MP3 files vs. MP4. I'd have to get a conversion program, etc. Luckly I know the Ski & Sea managers and the took it back. I liked the video but it's hard to tell if it's on or off and you have to stop to look. I bought the handlebar mount but it was too close to the windshield so that didn't work. The helmet strap mount probable would have worked but I was pointed a little low so it picked up my hands and inside fairing so that was distracting fr. the scenery.
I just wanted to post so anyone buying one needs to be aware that they need fairly new computer with the hardware and software upgrades, etc. and help of friend who knows files, editors, conversions or whatever else is needed. I don't even have a camera on my cell so I guess I could start there, LOL!
Here are a couple of vids I took yesterday, they include pictures of the mounts at the start of the video. It is a Go Pro 960 mounted on a RAM handlebar mount. The first video it is mounted on the handle bars, the next it is mounted on the highway peg. The last video is a Kodak Playsport mounted on the highway peg, tons of vibration. It is only posted for comparison. Sorry about the length, they really are too long for test vids. For full effect change the setting of the playback to 720p.
