So, will be considered touring category or the dyna? I wonder how the hdforums will make light of this decision. More than likely it will be categorized as a dyna.
I personally wouldn't buy one but I can see the logic.
The street glide exploded because of the "stigma" that the touring bikes were for grampa's and old geezers. Obviously not true, but the street glide kind of bridged the gap a little and brought a ton of new buyers to the touring bike market.
I can see this bike appealing to women, to younger guys ready to get off their sportsters, and I'm sure several other groups out there.
As has been mentioned, it's a Road Queen. The bike's aimed at shorter riders who want to tour. It's a damn smart move on the MoCo's part.
Sorry i dont get the girls bike road queen comments! I think this bike was a good idea and its pretty much just like the softail convertable but in a dyna! I know a guy with the screeming eagle softail convertable and its very nice i would take it over a 1000 pound pig any day! And i have a feeling this bike is going to be almost as nice for alot less!

It's lower and lighter than a Road King, ergo it'll be easier for smaller women to handle.
