If you're doing a 500 mile day then taking a 10 min break every 100 miles adds less than an hour to your day. Seems like not riding enough miles around here is almost as bad as trailering your bike somewhere.
If stopping every 100 miles is what lets you enjoy your ride then do it, no matter what anyone else thinks! Not everyone likes iron butts. I should really crank people up and get a trailer, put the bike in it, and stop THAT every 100 miles :-)
