Default Neck tighten

Hi new guy here. Recently got an 11 street glide that I love. Brought to dealer for 1k svc and they said neck was loose and covered under wtty 1 time only. Is this a known issue or is it really because of our bad roads in MI?

The neck bearings and races can settle some after initial assembly, requiring them to be tightened a little. This doesn't necessarily indicate a defective bearing or factory assembly problem, just fair wear and tear. I suppose bad roads could accelerate the condition.

They're not covered on a one-time basis. They're covered until your 2 year warranty runs out, or the duration of any extended warrenty you may have purchased. Look for another dealer that's more service friendly. Ride safe.

I have already found one. My original dealer also dyno tuned my bike after an initial base map from pipe install. They also had it a week to do the 1k which I thought was pathetic.

It was in the metro Detroit area. My new dealer is south west of that now.

I love the bike but hated their service.
