If not cotton, what the hell kind of underwear are you wearing? Some kind of spandex? I know you arent wearing wool or silk.

This is the strangest question I have ever asked another man.

Tell me you really didn't throw the seat on and then directly do a 300 mile ride. Both the butt and the seat need to break in. The hubby got his EG and I hated the seat at first. Now that the seat and I have spent a lot of time together, and I like it just fine. I can spend the whole day riding without discomfort.

It is my experience (FWIW) that as a passanger, once my butt starts hurting, it won't go away, even after a break. Breaks should be timed so that they happen before she is uncomfortable - at least until they both break in.

Sounds to me like it's time to upgrade to an Ultra Classic.

Well I got rid of the Sundowner and received my Super Touring Mustang yesterday, and all I can say is...WOW. First thing I noticed when I opened the box and took the seat out was holy crap this thing is heavy,,,coming in at around 17lbs. The second thing I noticed was the quality, the base plate isnt like the thin plastic on Harley seats...this thing is thick and appears to be top notch. The last thing was after I got it on the bike and sat on it was that there was no crunch spots. I could sit on the seat and not feel like i was sitting on the hump in the back or was pushed forward to the tank, just a nice sitting area with plenty of space. Now, it does look big on the bike, but Ive already learned that while Im out with the wife comfort is primary over looks, looks only count when Im out alone in which case the glide gets streamlined anyway. We did a 75 mile jaunt to try it out and it feels good, I will give this one more time to break in for the simple fact that I like the seating position and it feels pretty good right off the bat with adequate room and like i mentioned no crunch spots. All in all Im thinking pretty positive right now on the new Mustang. Oh, one last thing, Sue at Mustang was great to deal with and customer service was top notch. She can be reached at sales ext 122. Very pleasant to do business with.

Agree with other posters. Keep the seat and get her a cushion... OR like some others said, send your Sundowner off to MCC. My wife like the Sundowner just fine, but hates the heat coming off the head pipe... That's entirely another i$$ue for another day.
