Went out this morning for a fifteen minute spin to warm up the oil, so I could change it before I put her away for the winter. Ended up going 100 kms. It was 4 degrees above freezing, supposed to get 10 cm of snow tonight.

STOP it, say no more...I can't take it...LOL All this talk of the cold weather depresses me. I moved to south Florida a couple years ago so that I could ride my bicycle and scoot year round. I have been blessed to have a job that allows me to move to different regions if I like. While in S. Fl the last 2 years the ave highs in Jan and Feb were in the mid 70's. Sweeeeeet! Unfortunately, the blue hairs (snow birds) have a tough time seeing you on the road and because of the hurricanes, the insurance and taxes got to be too much. So, I moved 3 months ago to Orlando. Much cheaper and the traffic is a lot better. I understand it does get down in the 30's occasionally but only a few days in the winter and those are early morning lows. I have a 30 minute commute daily which is very enjoyable. Some drawbacks though, like the summer afternoon showers. But all in all, central Fl is the ticket.
I'll get some extra riding in the next few days for all of you.
