2011 Road Glide started sputtering and uneven idle. Running like crap. Still less than 1000 miles on it. I always use premium fuel but I had a feeling I got a bad batch at a no name station on the road. Went to my local station that has Sunoco 100 octane race fuel (they do good with this, lot's of rods and classic muscle cars in the area). I had a third of a tank so I filled it up to see if the mixture would alleviate my problem.
Wow. Run's great, in fact much better than upon delivery. The most noticable thing is the exhaust sound on my stock system. Sounds like I changed pipes.
They say this is the same as the old Sunoco 260 except it's the top grade and you can't turn the dial to get the blend you want like in the good ol' days. As far as cost, $6.39/gal. Not something you want to put in on a regular basis but it did clear out my problem without using additives. Hey, even the dog needs a sirloin once in a while.

Sunoco 260 was originally a leaded fuel with approx a 110 octane rating. Better still was that it cost only fractionally more than their 220 and 240, which were premium gasolines.
It makes the exhaust smell cool too!! I occasionally blow some F&L through my bike. I through a gallon in and top of the the other 4 gallons with 91 octane.
