May God's grace and comfort be upon your entire family.
It's been 7 years in October....still miss him every day.
Spent every minute with him, never left his side the entire last month. (foreman at work was a blessing...got back to find that I wasn't charged one minute)
Read the 23 Psalms about 10 minutes before he passed, it was just he and I with the nurse looking on.
I've watched both of my children born into this world...
The awe and glory of my fathers passing this life into His eternal glory is the most beautiful thing I've personally ever witnessed...and felt it a great honor to be there.
Sure do miss him...will be reunited one day.

prayers are riding your way!unfortunately i feel your pain and understand your mixed emotions.lost my dad several years ago to a short battle with cancer.make the most of your time with the little things and less stressfull plans.these r some of the best memories u will have with him itsw amazing the the things that can happen while sitting around chatting .god bless and be strong!

Just wanted to give everyone an update. At 4:45am this morning my dad passed. My brother and his wife, my wife and I and my mom were all there for his passing. He passed 5 weeks after being diagnosed.
Although he won't be able to go with us in person we plan to take the trip as a family after the memorial service. We will be bringing his ashes with us.
Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. I have attached a pic of Dad with one of his best friends, his chocolate lab Hershey.
