Default yet another handlebar question

I'm planning on buying a new RKC soon but will need to have the seat/bars modified as the stock ones don't fit me well. While at the dealer the other day, I found a used softtail that had bars that fit me perfectly. I don't know how bar fit translates from one model to another, but seems to me like they'd still work if I put them on a RK.

Does anyone recognize these bars? I'm thinking WO 508's but what do I know?

I strongly recommend you buy your bike as it is and ride it for a while before making any changes. Even if you have test ridden one and don't like the bars the experience of riding over a few weeks is likely to change how you feel about the bike as a whole. You can also make adjustments to the stock bars that may make them more comfortable.

sound advice - I think I'll be following it. So just get the lower seat and see how it goes then? I probably could ride without the lower seat, but it feels just a touch too high for me. If I had to back the bike up It'd be A LOT of work without a lower seat.

I've been riding for over 40 years and half a million miles, also owned my Glide for 21 years. I have never been able to back up my bike while sitting on it! I get off the darned thing and wheel it backwards when ever I need to. As long as you can get the ball of one foot firmly on the ground and ride it plenty you'll be fine.
