Default Has anyone tried BDL compensator??

I was looking into these compensators without the springs. I had a belt drive on my chopper with no compensator springs and it seemed OK. I was wondering if anyone has done it on a bagger.

2009 FLHTCU FOR ONE DAY AND REMOVED IT!
Followed install step by step, unit seized and created an off balance shake and a god awful wining sound as well the effect of power transfer to the road. I believe this can be a good unit but its hit or miss if yours locks up.
