Default code running front led turn signals

I have an '09 Road Glide and replaced the front amber turn signals with Genesis brand amber led turn signals from Custom Dynamics along with a load equalizer from them. Now every once in awhile my key icon remains lit on my speedometer and the turn signals will not function, but will reset if I shut the bike off and restart it, then everything is ok. I had the dealer check it out on last service describing the issue and they said the led's are causing the bike to throw a code on occasion, they said a few other owners have the problem also and are just dealing with it.

Anyone else heard of this and have a solution w/o removing the led's? thanks
