On my 08 Road King I have recently been having the right turn signal start blinking very fast. It happened intermitantly for a while but now does it most of the time. When it does this, my security light on the speedo lights up (red key).
Usually means a burnt bulb but not so this time. I took out the bulbs (LEDs) and used some dielectric grease. I have a run-turn-brake module installed and am using a load equalizer. All the above have been on the bike for at least a year or so with no problems. I'm thinking load equalizer fail but I thought I'd give the forum a shot. Since all threads are useless without pics I have included one of my wife for good measure.
Sounds like load equalizer to me too. Take it out and try it. Lights will blinks fast, but you shouldn't have the other symptoms mentioned. If so I would think that's the problems.
do you have a triple play ?, if so it might be burning out, my wifes bike had the same problem, you can also try connecting the orange wire from the load eq straight to the battery. I went through 2 triple play rbt already
