If you are willing to spend some more money, this is the way to go.... You can feel 100% confident that your bike will NEVER fall.... The 2 piece cradle clamps your front wheel as you roll on.

Air over hyd pump is around 150.00 through ESCO. Not bad and the pump is a foot valve.
What is ESCO? Do you have a link? HF has them for $139 without the coupons that are all over the place. I just need to figure out how to hook it up. I may be able to connect to the fitting where the cylinder pump push rod goes.

I dont know how to post a link but google: ESCO tire service and search: hyd pump. Its an industrial air over hyd pump we use for porta power jacks and heavy equipment tire bead breakers. Ill post a pic when I get home.
Air will require a larger cylinder than hydraulic to apply the needed force. I doubt you have the air pressure available that the hydraulic pump is applying to the stock cylinder. It may be several hundred psi hydraulic pressure.
I have a HF lift that is both hydraulic and air operated. Do they not sell this one any more? When my pump started leaking I ordered a new hyd/air pump from HF to replace the old one. If they still sell it you could order the pump from them.
