Happy that You and Your Buddy will recover from Your injuries. Bikes can be replaced, lives cannot. Hope You two can remain Friends.

Well at least the injuries weren't more severe. Hate that this happened but I'm sure your buddy feels terrible. Good luck.

Sounds just like an unfortunate accident....sucks it is your friend to boot

As far as both having Progressive, yes that should speed things up......when I got hit from behind in my car a couple of years ago we both had Geico...got hit on Monday and my car was repaired and out of shop that Thursday. Seems pretty clear cut what happened and who is at fault...they should be able to move quickly on this

Hope you both recover 100%. Also if they total the bike, I hope you still have some of the stock parts to put back on it, they usually cover the first 1k of extras, after that you're on your own unless you have extras coverages.

Last year my daughter drove my to the Indy to pick up scoot. On the way back stooped at light she was looking to the left at traffic didn't see me stop and up my *** she went. Think she felt worse about it then me. Maybe! Fortunately wasn't to bad. Ride safe guys. And glad everybody walked away with no permeant injuries.
