Default Chrome Fork Sliders

Has anyone chromed their fork sliders? Been considering this for my SG. I see them selling on eBay for $150-$200 (some with exchange, some not). Is this the best route to go or would having my sliders chromed be cheaper?

I have a set of chrome sliders on the way. I'm doing the exchange, seems like every set I tried to buy outright on fleabay went for 200 +.

I did mine with a chrome exchange.

I did dad's with OEM parts from LSHD or Chicago - one of the two.

I like the chrome exchanged ones better because the OEM version isn't polished all the way around.
