My new Street Glide
I road the bike a couple weeks and put some more miles on before doing anything to it. I noticed how hot the thing gets, so I took the exhaust off, cut open the header and removed the cat. Then added a set of V&H monster rounds so i could hear the bike. For me I found it strange compared to my other bikes to ride this and not being able to hear the bike. I was going to go with the SE stage 1 but decided to get the K&N filter kit. I also added a Power commander V and called them to get a map close to what I'm running. It now runs much cooler. I think it runs a little better than before but no huge difference. I'm now wanting to add a set of cams, Andrew's 54h. I think this will fix what I believe the bike is missing. Just going to drop the cams in and leave everything else alone. I'm happy with the performance so I think just doing the cams and getting it on the dyno after I'm done messing with it. Then it should be right where I want it. Now I Just need to decide if i want to tackle the cams or just pay the 700 and have someone else do it.
