I'm looking at the 2012 Road Kings. The Classic has 16" wheels on front and back. The regular/standard has 17" wheels on the front and 16" wheels in back. What difference in handling will the 1" difference make? I always assumed the slightly smaller wheel will make turns easier, but not sure. Also not sure if having two different sizes makes any difference. Any advice or thoughts?
I've never noticed anything different in the handling.
One thing I'll say is if you like wide white walls they're only available for the RKC cuz that larger front wheel on a RK standard supposedly nobody makes a WWW tire for that size. I find this rather amazing as I'd think there's plenty of people who would like to run WWW's on their RK.
