Engine Performance Diagnosis
Had my dealer install the SERT and dynotune. Ran great at WOT.I kept complaining about a stumble- felt like it would miss. (08 Road Glide) Returned to the dealer 4 times, still had a stumble around 2200-2300 rpms. They finally has a HD tech coming in to do training on the (at that time new) SEST. It's definitely better, still has trouble getting off the line when two up. Good luck.
I finally gave up on them and took it to Doc's Performance Tuning, and after ditching the SERT if favor of TTS Mastertune, pulling off the sorry butt V&H pipe and replacing with Fuelmoto headpipe and rush 2"exhaust, problem has been solved, and awesome for 3K miles.
FYI, when Doc pulled out my spark plugs, they showed the bike was running extremely rich! Total opposite of what Baymeadows suggested.
Although I recieve excellant service from the guys at Adamecs, I do not have any confidence in their tuning abilities. They claimed my bike spent hours upon hours on the dyno, but I never believed that, my bike was not there that long. Plus, when they gave me dyno sheet, the last run they gave me was run number 7. I watched Doc tune my bike on the dyno for every bit of 3 hours, and when he gave me my final dyno sheet it was from run #31.
PM me if you would like any more information.
Decided to go back to stock plugs today. I read back through my maint. log and noticed the bike ran flawlessly during the break-in 1000 miles on stock plugs. My dealer recommended I go with SE plugs for the final dyno tune.
I'm being hopeful!
