Default SE Plug Wires

Have to put a notice out there about these wires, they are not actually spec'd for a standard motor or big bores, they are not consistently withing spec. I have had two bikes dyno'd and could not get rid of slight ping, switched back to stock wires all gone. The guy that did the Dyno put a ohm mter on the SE wires sure enough they are out of spec. Stick with stockers.

If you have any pinging and have these wires put the stockers back on for a few tanks of gas before you spend any money on anything else.

Been saying that all along. You can get yourself into trouble with those plug wires.

I'll stick with OEM plugs and wires.

No issues with my SE Wires. One of my favorite mods to the bike. Added a little color to the bike for not a lot of money. I know several people running these wires with no issues. Bike nights here in Milwaukee show even more people running them than I thought would be. Wonder if you just had a bad set?

Same here and after hearing all this hocus pocus about SE wires I took my stock plugs wires with me when I had my bike dyno tuned, I had zero issues with the SE wires.

IMHO, personally I'd listen to what Dawg says.
