Elvis was a serious rider (only dresser Harley's I think) throughout his adult life. Supposedly he was good at it, and good with other vehicles too. He used to have snowmobiles that would roll without snow. According to some biographies I've read, he kinda had this attitude where, if he took up some hobby/vehicle, he wanted to be really good at it. They have some bikes on display across the street from Graceland, but I can't remember too much about it because it was before I was into Harleys.
A friend who lived in Memphis told me there was this all-night pizza place with pictures of Elvis in person, in the '70's. He would ride his Harley down there in the dead of night and get bloated on pizza, right up until the end.
Nobody does 'retro' vehicles better than Harley. The new VW bugs being a runner up IMO.
I just logged in here and started to look at the different pics of some of your bikes on here, and well now I gotta have one!! Of course the oldies, that is a gimmie, but damn, some of the bikes on here are just flipping awesome!! Ideas out the wazzu, great schemes, and so on.....
My pocket book hates me looking at them, but my ego loves it!!!
