If ya got the time, check out their package to do the engine Steel Toe tour. Includes the museum and they take ya up to do the tour of the engine plant. Really enjoyed that. At the restaurant, did really enjoy the chicken ceasar salad and price not too bad.
Yes it is, but don't pay the extra $10 for the ear phones. It is better to read and chat with your buds.
..$10.00 just to use earphones???...WOW...what a rip-off..do they charge admission to get into the place?..if so, it must be steep. I went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland last week during a road trip from Mass to Colorado..it was $22.00 for admission...nice place, but steep prices..
Don't miss it. Was just there in June at the end of a 4 day trip. Great experience. See if you can get a ticket to tour the powertrain operations. We missed it by a couple of hours.
Absolutley worth going, I thought it was pretty awesome! Make sure you take the elevator to the third floor, Not a part of the museum but its where there techs are working on museum bikes, and behind them are bikes stacked in crates from floor to ceiling, as deep as you can see...Harleys personal collection very cool.
Was there last Wednesday. Did the Steel Toe tour of the powertrain operations ($38 includes museum). The Steel Toe tour was great. I'd do it again.
If you are into old bikes, the museum was nice (I'm not).
Restaurant I felt was pretty good (sausage and kraut).
Meals about $10-14.
Went last year on my way to Sturgis. Well worth the visit, and follow KennyMay's suggestion to get up to the third floor, where you can observe restorations being done.
