Thanks to everyone for the advice. I think I'll take it to an acquaintence who runs a machine shop rather than dick with it myself.

Be careful cuz if you drill a hole to large in diameter into a broken bolt/stud and drive an EZ out in the hole you will expand the remaining bolt/stud material and will not be able to turn it out--forever.

Good idea if you have never done this. Watch them remove it if you can for next time just in case. Those fasteners HD uses are just not good quality IMO.
