If you're gonna try drilling it, I'd at least remove the caliper from fork to minimize any potential damage during drilling. Do you have any Easy-outs? If so, I'd consider removing the caliper so you can drip on some Liquid Wrench onto the bolt and let it sit for a day or two before having at it. Try to use a cotton swab instead of spraying it so the Easy-out has less potential to slip as it's trying to grab as much meat as it can to remove the bolt. If that fails, then yeah, take it to a machinist. The sad part is a machinist will get that sucker out in mere moments!
