rpg650 in an 07 king
howdy gents, ladies, and anyone else that does not fit into the above categories. i just got handed a 'thunderpage' aka scorpio alarm rpg650. somehow i think it'll be plug and play, even though it isn't supposed to be. it's for model up to 06. I have an 07 king, with the buttonless fob stock alarm. i believe there is an output for the smart siren.anybody familiar with these things? the manufacturer is no help.

OK. it plugs right in. i got mine for $20 from a dealer clearence pile, there are many on e-bay cheap. I have the stock immobilizer alarm, that flashes the lights, and has a proximity key fob, not a clicker. supposedly it was made for the clicker. it comes with a pager and a siren. the siren seems to have been designed for video games. it is unplug-able. The module neatly wiretyes to the ecm bracket, where one finds the alarm plug. and the siren can be easily be wiretyed to the top right front. i don't like to drill or cut if i don't have to. I'll add in a 2 stage radar sensor and switch, so i can have a warn away to the siren, a trigger to the pager (silent) high or low sensitivity. that should give me peice of mind when i have a fully loaded tourer when stopped at a restaurant.
