That's outstanding. You win the mole eradication award of the year. Wish I could line em up that well.

I have an American Elite on the front with over 8,000 miles on it. It slips like crazy on the tar snakes. I'll be glad when it wears down so I can try a ME880.

where's everyone getting mail order tires installed? Any tricks to finding an installer? I don't mind removing the wheels but I'm a little leary of removing and installing. Also my wheels are chromed . . .

I had chrome wheels on my other bike and I was always scared as hell when it came time for new tires. Luckily a friend of mine has a custom bike shop and he has a hand operated tire machine. The spoons are covered in some sort of plastic or something and it's real easy on the chrome. If I were you I'd check your local custom or indy shop. On a side note Cycle Gear gouged the **** out of my bro-in-laws rim while changing his tire. They offered to fix it, but I still steer clear of them.

Hey Davessworks

Watch the video on the Jake Wilson site. Buy the extra tools and change the tire yourself. H$ll don't even need the manual for this one. One thing to remember is to buy more rim protectors than they say.But their bead breaker will not work on the wide tires.

Just had one mounted on my spare wheel, indy only charged $15 but gouged the rim, I'd gladly pay twice that for a clean swap.

I went to the Honda dealer. He charges $25 and no problems. Dealer won't install a tire unless you buy it from them

I meant to say Harley dealer won't install unless you buy from him. He also won't install unless it's a "Harley" labeled tire

Had an American Elite installed on the rear this afternoon. Excellent tire. Love it. Ride and handling are superb. Now hoping I get better wear than the stock tire.

Hey Dave.... I just bought a rear American Elite from Jake Wilson. $165 grand total shipped to my door in three days. Took the tire and the bike down to Sound HD and Brandy had absolutely no problem with them doing the swap regardless of where I bought the tire. They charged $100 for the labor, balancing, recycle fee etc. Thought about removing the wheel myself and taking it down there, but $100 seemed reasonable so I went that route.
