I'm currently running American Elites on my '09 RK. The rear tire has 14,400 miles on it and plenty of tread left. They're wearing very well and are more affordable than the H-D Dunlop tire. I'll be going with these tires from now on.
I'm very happy with mine. 9000 moles so far and they are wearing better than the stock tires and have better grip. I got them from Jake Wilson for 259 delivered to my door. Which is 115 less than I saw them at cycle gear the other day. Dennis Kirk has them for about the same
American Elite's on the 09 Street Glide.
Put them on about 4000 miles ago.
After riding on the worn OEM tires these feel very good but time will tell.
Oh yes I questioned the amount of weight required to balance them, about 2 ounces front and rear, seems like a lot to me but they seem to be ok on the road.
I'm running American Elites on my 09 Ultra. Very good tire and handles great. Dunlop says no white wall on this tire and none in the future. I really don't miss that little stripe.
I have 7500 miles on my American Elite rear, running 42 to 44 lbs pressure with dyna beads and mine is starting to cup, I live in NC Mts so 98% of the time I'm riding twisties might have something to do with cupping
i have had an american elite on the back of my 09 ultra since march. I have put on over 12,000 miles on the bike since then and have no problems with the tire. I will be changing the front out in Sept because I want new tires on the bike when I go home to Utah. the rear tire will be replaced as well at that time.

Dunlops website calls for 36lbs in front and 40lbs in rear. Maybe thats why they are cupping. I run the pressure that's called for in mine and no problems at all.
