dumb question but did you pull off that metal bracket that was on there behind the stock a/c back plate?
I bought my se stage 1 a/c used and had no instructions.
That bracket confused me so I looked up the install instructions on HD website and it had to come off.
PITA getting those two allen screws out since I left the tank on.
The big sucker dosnt require the removal of the plastic bracket behind the backing plate but the SE does. So is this tech blowing smoke up my *** or not?
Guess Im going to break down and buy a SE cleaner.
So found the leak was coming from between the metal AC bracket and the rear head. Dont understand why Harley dosnt put a gasket there. Metal to metal dosnt sound like a good combo. Well I removed the metal bracket and put washers the same size as the bracket between the AC and head. I used a high temp silicone as a gasket. Worked great for a day then she started leaking again. Finally threw in the towel and took it to the dealer. They are gonna take it in Tuesday and take a whack at it. Said he would do a leak down test. What numbers should I expect on this test on a 2011 bike? Also still having the pressure at the dip stick.
This is killing me since this bike is not even 3 months old and has only 4700 miles.
