Default Headphone/microphone setup?

Anybody out there familiar with or used this mans product? They seem to be alright , but just thought somebody might have personal experiance or opinions on them.

Anybody have any good recomendations/suggestions for a reasonable setup other than the HD offering that you have to velcro the earphone to the inside of your helmets?
I have 2 sets of those kind. One that came with my 2005 Ultra--never used, and the set that came with my 2010 Limited, also never used. They seem like the cable and plug are heavy and bulky...I have plugged them in and tested the earphones. They sound OK but with a half-helmet I see no way to mount them...not sure how good the mikes are in the wind?
Going on a trip soon and thought I would finally give the intercom setup a try.
