I am finally able to play my music thruogh my stereo and was wondering what those of you with an iphone use to mount it to the bike. I prefer a handlebar mount or something to keep the phone within site. I also want to keep vibration at the lowest. Anyone have any good suggestions???????
i have bought a couple of these holders and i really dig them! Make sure you look at the chart @ the middle/bottom of the ad to pick out which type of phone/device you want a holder for.
I bought the RAM mount set up, mount, arm and ball together costs about 35.00.... I feel it's a good looking, well made and works great..... Just my 2 cents.
Plus, I purchased a cable that both charges and sends the aux signal that I plug into the bottom of my Iphone. I also modified my head unit to wire an additional aux jack in the rear. Only one cable to plug/unplug. It's a very neat set-up.

I second my man's suggestion here... i don't have an Iphone but i got the same mount for my Nano.... This guy makes his mounts for just about everything.... They are as slick and simple as i have ever seen. It mounts right to the existing bolt on the hand controlls... Some of the mounts that i've seen are SO out of controll..they look like a piece of bridge work.. i guess the manufacturers don't know that all these phones and MP3 players are less than 1 pound. I think my Nano is like 3 ounces.
p.s. It was under $30 and it shipped in less then a week

Did you do the mod or send it in to get it done?(if you added the AUX in could you elaborate on this?) I would like to do this to mine but do not really want to be without it for the time it would take to send it out and get it back.
I am very happy with the Ram Mount, and also posted this tip a while back for charging, connecting Aux and controlling basic function of Iphone Ipod with gloves on.
I have subsequently also posted an important tip about a setting called "shake to shuffle" - make sure you switch that off
Good call on this one! I was wondering for a week or two why my iphone would keep skipping songs @ stop lights and when i started it up, and finally stumbled across that option in the ipod settings menu. Made me laugh a for a bit
