Sidekick vs. Badlander
Which are the best feeling for your tush on a long trip? I would kind of think the Sidekick would be. Any opinions on other low profile "non-solo" versions from C&C or Dan Gray? Thanks
I have a Sidekick on my Sportster and a Badlander on my FXR. The Sidekick is good for a half hour at most. The Badlander is a lot more comfortable. I would look at a Corbin Gunfighter as another option. I've owned them in the past and just got one for the FXR. Very comfortable after you break it in.
My brother said the Badlander was the equivalent of strapping a brick to his frame and going for a ride. We are both very Happy C&C customers. Chuck is awesome to deal with, price is awesome for the quality and custom look and feel.
I have a badlander on my Ultra Classic when I have the tour pac off. I think it looks good but its named Badlander because its not a good place to be for a long period of time. A couple hours is all you will want to be on it at a time.
To me they were about equal in comfort. I took the Badlander back, though, because I just didn't like the quality of it. Of course, it's a lot less expensive than the Sidekick so it's not a bad buy. Just wasn't for me.
