This is definitely the best Harley I've ever owned - '82 Sporty, '75 Shovel, '63 Pan and I still own a '72 Shovel FLP. My Street Glide is also the best Harley I've ever ridden - and I have ridden more than a few. I rode a Big Dog once and I wouldn't trade my SG for one of those either. As far as problems and transmission noise, I've had problems and I've got transmission noise... its a Harley. Still the best one I've ever owned.
Until a lot more time goes by and there are bikes with 5000-10,000-15,000 miles, they are pretty much all the same-NEW. Who is going to spend $20,000+ on a bike and say it sucks. I have an 06 and I have tranny whine in 4th. But I love it. Come to think f it I had tranny whine on my 04 FLHT too. If you want perect, buy German or Jap... If you want COOL, buy a Harley. My 2cents. Bring on the flames!!!!!
I've only owned the new Streetbob for a month but it's got ***** for sure.I still love my 05 E-glide (rode it Saturday) but the 96 on the Dyna give me a pretty good rush.I'm happy!
