When you're touring and spending nights in hotels, do you bring your bags in for the night or do you leave them on your bike? Neither my bags or tour pack lock to the bike. Just wondering what everyone is doing and if anyone has had their bags stolen from their bike?

My Fatboy had Boss Bags with quick detach so they came off nd stayed in the room with me. On the new Road Glide I changed to the Brukus Bag bolts so the bags can not be popped off by the back with a screw driver and I have bag inserts/liners off e bay that I pack so I acn just them out and go

I've always left the bags on. Never had a problem. I always lock the bags when leaving the bike parked somewhere. My tour pak is detachable, but probably only someone familiar with HDs would know how to get it off quick or even know it detaches.

Having hard bags that lock, they stay on the bike. I sure can't fault you for toting your stuff in the room at night.

I lock my hard bags and added the detachable tour pak lock. Haven't done a lot of traveling, but when I do I haven't had a problem.

Always leave 'em on the bike. I just remove any valuables and bring them in with me, never had a problem. I do have them bolted onto the bike, helps with peace of mind.

Always leave them on and locked. I also put a cover on it too.

I leave the bags locked on the bike. Everything that needs to go inside a motel (clothes, shaving kit, tennis shoes, etc) is in my dry bag, so I just carry that in.

I put a bolt with a lock nut on each bag, and have 2 locks on the QD tour-pak. And then put an old honda goldwing cover on it !
