Electr Glide vibration question
OK, I know it s a Harley but here is the deal: About a month ago I had a new rear tire put on my 03 FLHTI. A week after that I went on an unplanned ride that ended up being on glorified ATV trails. After the trail ride debacle, I noticed a vibration in the floor boards. It happens after the bike gets warm, around 3000 rpm. If I pull in the clutch and coast, I still feel a little. If I pull the clutch in and coast, rev the engine, there is no increase in vibes. If I shut off engine and coast, its smooth as silk. I have replaced front motor mount, checked all of the bolts on bike, loosened exhaust and re tightened, adjusted clutch and had no luck. I am thinking engine drive train alignment, rear tire alignment and belt tension. I know this topic has been discussed about a million and 1 times but I need help! Can anyone tell me if I am on the right track or suggest anything else.

Did you check the motor mounts. If the rubber gets damaged only slightly it can cause the vibration. Also make sure the exhaust isn't touching the the floorboard or anything else. If it stops when the engine is stopped guess where the problem probably is. Look for rocks or anything wedged between engine and frame or trans. I wish you luck.
