Sorry for asking what is surely an old question, but from what I'm reading here (after doing a search) and in my manual, I'm good to go using Mobil 1 V-twin 20/50 synthetic in my transmission and primary correct? (2011 Ultra)
Correct, you can use the Mobil1 v twin 20w50 in all 3 holes.
I use Motul 7100 20w50 (in Italy the mobil oil is hard to found) but only for primary and motor holes
For transmission I use a Motul GEARBOX 80W90
is bad o correct?
This debate will never end..... like ever. So here's my opinion. I think 20-50 is to light for the trans and to heavy for the primary. I run Harley Tranny/primary with Mobil1 gear lube in the tranny and Ford ATF in the primary. Again, thats just me.
I use baby oil in primary. Rendered pork fat in tranny. And Harley Sun Wash in motor. Change all 3 holes every 15 miles. Cheap insurance!
I usta run olive oil in the engine, oil of Olay in the trans, and canola oil in the primary.
But I always had issues for some reason so went to the Amsoil.
