I am runnign 2-1 and love it. My buddy is running 2-2 and it has been said my bike counds meaner and has a much deeper tone than his.
I went 2-1 simply because I liked the Big Radius look, and my delaer explained that the back pressure on a 2-1 set up is better for the overall performance.
Inidentally, I get on avgerage 7 mpg better than my buddy on the highway. We both have Fatboys and thats cruising at 65-75mph
Wow, better gas mileage! In theory it should, but not on my Evo. There is some weigh lost, but not enough to make a big diff.
I'll try one in the future on my new bike.
Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like an overwhelming 2-1 win. I don't care about the uneven look and I thought that all of the 2-1's on Youtube sounded different. I will be exploring the 2-1's.
Just removed my True Duals and installed a D&D Fat Cat. At the moment I'm not happy at all with the performance. I lost my entire midrange but I need to put some addition miles on it so that my EMS system can adjust (thought this adjustment was instantaneous but now have learned otherwise) So I'll keep my opinion to myself until after the weekend
thinking about switching exhaust on my 2011 flhx103 and wanted to get some advise on what is the best performing exhaust configuration. Does anyone know if the 2-1 out perform the 2-2's. Does either of the configurations provide substantially more power than the 2-1-2 set-up if you are already dialed in with a/c and pc/sert?
